Hey guys,
I'm 28 and I have the HSV-1. One outbreak a year or less, got from my mom, etc.
Question: when should I disclose this to my partners, considering there's no outbreak? Options I see are: before kissing, before sex, before oral sex, and before engaging a relationship.
Knowing about asymptomatic transmission and how most of the population have it I usually don't make a big deal out of this, but I realize different people have different standards, and that culture has some relevance when it comes to this (I'm originally from another country, where I suspect herpes is less of a big deal than in the USA).
Anyways - trying to figure out the correct approach here, thanks!

The aroma and flavor that garlic and onion in any form yield stay in my system way longer than reasonable. I need to be able to eat these two foods to help my immune system and my sinuses function better, but I can't stand the aftermath anymore (and now that I have a boyfriend again, I'm extra sensitive to yucky breath and stuff). What can I eat or drink to counteract these side effects so I can keep onions and garlic in my diet?

About 6 days ago I was brushing my teeth and I jammed the plastic edge of my toothbrush hard against my lower right-hand outside gum. There wasn't any blood, but in the days since, some sort of white blister has developed and is sensitive to the touch. It looks like a short (inch-long) line along my gum where the toothbrush hit.
