Horseback Riding - Toronto

I want to take my girlfriend out for a day of horseback riding. I've never done it. She's ridden a horse once or twice as a child and that's it. We live in Toronto and it's going to be a day trip so no more than an hour and a half or so of driving in either direction. Can anyone suggest a farm or stable or whatever it's called where we can do this? [more inside]

Cut off.

I gave two weeks' notice at my work last Friday after over two years of committed service. The next day I received a phone call from my boss telling me I wouldn't be needed. I am paid by the hour and had these two coming weeks factored into my budget. I need the income to pay my bills. I live in Ontario and I wonder what I'm owed, if anything. [more inside]

I'm starting to get tipped off.

In Ontario, are there any legal restrictions to how an employees tips should be handled in the service industry?—specifically with regard to restaurants and cafes?

Curious, indeed.

In Ontario, are high schools supposed to charge a fee when they issue student transcripts? I've asked the guidance office of my old school for two transcripts. One is for a post-secondary application. The other is for myself. Is the guidance secretary just trying to screw me outta $20 so she can fix her nose-candy at lunch?
