I would like to be able to access files on my mapped network drive remotely on my ipad. In particular, I would like to access entire folders of files that change somewhat on a weekly basis in places where I may not be able to get internet access or do not want to wait for a download. There does not seem to be a product that offers these features. Suggestions?

I have a Kodak Playsport Zx5 digital video recorder, and a full 16GB SD card worth of 500MB - 2GB .MOV video files. Where can I store them online? I'm interested in the following online video storage features (it would be great to have all of them offered by one website, but if that's not possible, I'll settle for a few):
1. Privacy options for marking videos as public/private
2. Free/Cheap storage
3. Ability to download original file at a later date
4. Ability to play video online

What is the hands-down
cheapest way to store a large amount of data online: say 100GB with say 100GB transfer per month?
Bandwidth and transfer limit aren't a priority as long as media files can be streamed right away any time.
Why? Because we would all like to put our music collections online.
The lowest I've found is about 10 cents per gigabyte.

I have a bunch of funny/interesting/neat pictures that I've accumulated over time from the internet. Rather than storing them all locally on my harddrive, any way I can do that online for free? (This question could also be expanded to other filetypes, like word documents and music files, so if you have suggestions for that, please post them as well.)

I'd like to share recordings with bandmates. So, an HTML5 or Flash player, and comments. Optionally private. And not SoundCloud - but I have 50 gigs of Dropbox space and also an S3 account.

My cousin in New Hampshire wants to collaborate on music with me. I'm in Seattle.
I'd like to figure out a convenient way for us to pass large .wav files to each other. I can pull his completed rock songs into a multitracking program and create vocal tracks - then I need to pass the vocal tracks back to him in the form of .wav files so he can add them to the mix on his end.
I know there are web based file storage sites, and I can randomly try some out, but I thought I'd start with the hive mind:
Can anyone recommend a service like this? I'm thinking free, uncomplicated and capable of handling large file sizes.
The files don't need to live there for a long time - just a reasonable window of time to pass them back and forth. Have any of you done this kind of thing?

Having settled on Dropbox as a way to backup files, how do I save files to my computer AND to My Dropbox. All I see is how to MOVE the file - I want to have it in both locations - my computer and Dropbox but don't see a choice on the s/w to make that happen.
