My wife has a 44-string Venus harp. I think it's the Cherub model. The Venus website suggests a website to order from, but ordering online from a US retailer adds prohibitive shipping (and brokerage) costs, so I really need a Canadian retailer.
Where can I buy harp strings near Niagara, or online? I'm willing to drive to Toronto if I have to, but would prefer to order them online.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

I want to make something special for my mother's upcoming birthday. I've been looking around and I got inspired to make a cake with rad decorations on it. I've got a few questions tough, namely regarding icing, and I'd love some pointers. [more inside]

My prescription drug costs are $700 every quarter. I'm looking for an online pharmacy (based in Canada) that will fill my prescription at a more reasonable cost. I have tried PharmacyRxWorld.com (based here in Toronto) but they won't sell to me, because I live in Canada! [more inside]

I'm looking for an online store to buy a shoeshine kit in Canada- any ideas? I'm living in Wells, BC, and the only nearby town is Quesnel. Wal-Mart has the stuff, but I flatly refuse to buy anything from Wal-Mart. What is a on-line Canadian shoe company that I could buy polish, brushes, etc. from? I'd like to keep it in Canada, so I don't have to pay international shipping.

Calling all Canadians!
My limited free and work time is being sucked up by really trivial purchasing problems. How does one efficiently shop online in Canada? More importantly, where

Online contact lenses. For the past year or two, I have been ordering contact lenses online. I've never been asked for a doctor's prescription before. Now it seems no site will allow me to order contact lenses without a doctor's prescription. What happened? The doctor who I saw for my contact lenses, I've long since forgotten his name. I just got a eyeglass checkup but skipped the contact lens because mine are working fine, and are cheaper online. Is there a canadien or foreign contact lens company someone can recommend that doesn't require a prescription?
