PC-game-filter: I vaguely remember reading about these games years ago, help me remember what they were and bonus points for where to "obtain" them. 1) A game about B-movie like monsters --or maybe it was a make your own monster and set it loose on a city with a "movie mode" tacked on? 2) A game where you control a bizarre floating island that you build into a "battle ship", with jet engines, guns and even a battering ram. Can anybody help me find some old Lucasfilm games, like Maniac Mansion, Secret of Monkey Island, Zak Mckracken and the Alien Mindbenders, Loom? I used to own all of them but the disks are bad. I have been going everywhere and I still can't find the game for sale.

Oregon Trail. A-Train. Some of the games of my childhood ... and I still have the original media. But apparently my graphics card and computer are too fast or just plain wrong for these games. Is there some sort of emulator that I can get to slow my box back down and fix the graphics issues?
