MacOSX: Create a new user, move safest bits over from my old user?

MacbookProFilter: I migrated my old user onto my new macbook, and carried with it a bunch of problems (slow startup, rapid battery life loss, etc.). Is there a clever, systematic way to migrate chunks of my user account to a new user? [more inside]

Cosmos Osmos

There is a vintage game called "Cosmos Osmos" for the old Mac OS and would be loaded with several floppy disc's. I have searched all over the web (including mac garden and googleing) and have been unable to find ANYTHING regarding the game. It was surely at least 15 years ago from when I owned the game and was when Mac's owned the computer world. Help find information or even the game.

Donating an old Apple Quadra 630

I am trying to figure out how to dispose a functioning Apple Quadra 630. I never used it much. It has been sitting in a box all these years. The CMOS battery probably needs to be replaced. But other than that it runs just fine. I was thinking of giving it away on local freecycle.org chapter. Then I started thinking if I can donate it to somebody who can really make use it. Most groups accepting donations seems to want Windows machines or newer Apple machines. I am looking for suggestions. Should I just give it away on freecycle?
