I have a new commute that is hilly and mostly off-road, instead of my previous flat all paved one. I don't think my Dutch bike is suited to this, but I LOOOOOOOVE it so much. I never really enjoyed cycling before I got it. Is there a better suited bike that will make me equally happy? [more inside]
I am looking for a Subaru enthusiasts group in the Puget Sound Area or nearby. I have an older Outback wagon, nothing fancy...and would love to find a "general" Subaru club, or more specifically, one that focuses on the off-road capabilities of Subarus of any kind. Most of the Subaru clubs I see are all about the WRXs/ pimped out street car type.
I just got a Jeep and am looking for fun blogs and resources, something like Jalopnik but focused on 4x4s. (incidental language question: would you call a non-Jeep like this a Jeep? In Brazil we do, curious about your neck of the woods)
Looking for offroad biking clothes that don't make me look like shrink-wrapped tripe or some kind of junior-high skater dude. What does the middle-aged country gentleman wear on a bicycle hack through the shrubbery? [more inside]
I want a car where I can throw my bicycle in the back without taking it apart, and that has 4WD and higher than average clearance. What car satisfying these criteria has the lowest operating cost? (fuel + maintenance) [more inside]
I'm looking for a professional offroad driving facility in the UK that caters - well and without fuss - for disabled people and particularly for power-chair users. [more inside]
I'm a total noob when it comes to off-roading; can you help me figure out how to get started? [more inside]
What is the nature and purpose of this Land Rover variant or customization?
As an avid hiker, I'm looking for a (much) more capable trailhead vehicle than my current 98 Ford Escort. Requirements are inexpensive, good mpg, 4wd (preferably on demand and with 4low), good clearance, reliable and inexpensive to maintain. For reasons I can't fathom, I've been thinking about importing a Suzuki Jimny from Japan and have some questions about that too. I live in Canada (Vancouver). [more inside]
I'm going to be at U Colorado in Boulder for the summer and I'm interested in buying a bike. I'm willing to spend about $200 on a new one (which I'll take back to my school after the summer) and I'd preferably like a city bike that I can also occasionally take off-road. Since I got my last bike when I was in middle school (I'm 20 now), I wanted to see if anyone could offer advice or a guide on buying a new one. [more inside]
I need some help finding more examples of road legal off-road go-kart type things for sale in the UK. [more inside]
I live in California and would like to learn about how to responsibly explore the more difficult to visit parts of the west coast. How do I get into offroad exploring? [more inside]
