NYC parking resources: Friends are driving into town as I write this, but I have no idea whether they're allowed to park on my street, or nearby streets, or not. Signage is unclear. Does anyone know whether there is a website out there that I can refer to for the skinny on parking near my place? I live off of Central Park South.

I am trying to book a flight for my honeymoon. I live (and will be departing from) Toronto, and there is a stop in NYC. The flight is scheduled to arrive at La Guardia at 9am and my connecting flight is scheduled to depart at 12:30pm. I do not travel very frequently, so I am not sure how long it will take to get out of the airport at LGA (customs, baggage, etc), how far it is between airports, how bad traffic is on a Sunday morning/afternoon in NYC, and how long it will take to check in at JFK. How can I determine whether the 3.5 hours I have are a long enough time? I don't want to book this flight until I am reasonably sure. Under normal circumstances, I would be adventurous and take the chance, but I don't want to risk any problems for the honeymoon!

Thinking about doing the five-boro bike ride in NYC this year. I'd like to hear experiences, opinions & advice from anybody who's done it. Is it too crowded to be fun? What kind of shape do I need to be in? What should I bring? How long will it take to finish?

Dear New York City Mefites, I've got a bit of an unexpected trip to your fair city and am looking for recommendations for hotels or hostels. I'm hoping you can recommend places that I'm missing because they either don't have a web page, or are buried beneath massive piles of seo inflated sites.

I've been looking forward to taking classes at the YWCA Arts & Crafts League in NYC, ever since I found out about it a few months ago. However, it turns out that they will closing after their current term of classes, possibly re-opening in the fall with a reduced slate of classes. What other reasonably priced options are there in NYC (Brooklyn, Queens or Manhatten) for arts & crafts classes?

NYC: In a city where advertising posters of all kinds regularly get defaced, sometimes to reveal the latent cultural politics, sometimes just for the humour of it, why does it seem like all of the NYC2012 Olympic Bid posters remain 100% pristine? (For those outside of the area, these are an extremely prolific series of posters presenting various pithy phrases in colored text over black.)

Where do we get a keg of good beer in Manhattan? My friend is having a party and the best keg they have found is Yuengling, which is good, but we want better. Like Unibroue, Ramstein (local to the area and quite good), something really good like that. The boroughs are unfortunately out as apparently this keg is getting to the party in a taxi. The party is on 13th street, so the closer to there the better.

I'll be staying through the next noon, so that's also an option for hunting.
