I want to offer super-cheap ($10 to free) Shakespeare tickets to educators and their students in the NYC area. I'm interested in contacting both high school and college teachers. Would they likely welcome this or consider it spam? Is there some kind of message board or other resource I can use to contact these folks.

I recently saw "The Best of Everything" at HERE, and it was wonderful. What other Manhattan or near-Brooklyn venues can I check for cheap, well-done theatre that is funny and yet not without substance?

I am shooting a music video next month. It's a personal portfolio project and while my social group has stepped in beautifully, I still need people with certain traits/looks. Is there a place online I can post a listing to while also being upfront that it is an unpaid/volunteer gig?

Should we see "Wicked" on Broadway, or something else? My friend and I want to see a show tomorrow, Sunday Oct. 30. She still remembers seeing "Phantom of the Opera" in London with Sarah Brightman. We're pretty sure we can't get in to see "Book of Mormon". Tasteful-ish is important (so, no Avenue Q). Suggestions?

If a building (in New York City) is listed as being accessible for disabled people, are you allowed to ask them if they're disabled before letting them use the elevator and deny them access to it if they say they're not? (I know this sounds offensive. It offends me. Please read the rest before judging. Thanks.)

Hi all!
NYT covered Shakespeare In The Park 2010 which looks great:
It mentions tickets are handed out for free from 1pm on show day.
Anyone have experience with how long the queues are / when I should be there to stand a chance? Is 10am early enough? Sadly I'm only here Sat/Sun and we'd probably be angling for Sun.
thanks!

In an effort to avoid spending half my trip to NYC in the line-up at TKTS, I'd found the www.entertainment-link.com site, for discount theatre tickets. Problem is, I can't find much info on it, and I'm nervous i'll be handing my credit card number to some nefarious entity. Anyone have any experience with the site, or, alternatively, another recommendation for avoiding long TKTS lines?
