How can I stop getting sick? I teach High School and am constantly run down. I eat healthy, go to bed ridiculously early to get up early, exercise, and wash hands as often as possible (and have wipes in classroom) but it is pretty much impossible to stay healthy in a non-healthy atmosphere.

Help me find a registered dietitian in NYC!
I recently had my gallbladder out, and while I ate healthy before, I am looking to meet up with an RD who can help me modify my eating plans and advise me on how to eat now that I do not have a gallbladder! I have to admit I am a little paranoid about gaining weight, which is why I am looking to get a professional's opinion.

Greetings, hivemind. I'm looking for health insurance in Manhattan with the lowest possible monthly premium. I'm 30 years and hardly ever go to the doctor; really I just want catastrophic/hospital coverage and decent customer service. Advice?

I still have periodic acne breakouts at the age of 24, and now that I have health insurance I want to see a dermatologist. However, there's a million of them in NYC, and I don't have the time to shop around, so I'm considering going with NYC's most heavily advertised doctor,
Dr. Zizmor. Is this a bad idea? Have you or anyone you know ever said,
"Thanks, Dr. Zizmor?" [more inside]

So I think I went out and got myself a case of gonorrhea. (Just what I always wanted!) What are my treatment options for getting this taken care of ASAP? I understand that it can generally be handled with a course of antibiotics... but how can I best go about getting them? I don't have a regular doctor right now -- I've just made an appointment with a new doctor for the end of the month, but I'd prefer to get on top of this before then (since leaving it unattended for more than two weeks seems like a bad idea). I'm a gay guy in NYC, so advice specific to that milieu would be superb, but in the name of creating a valuable reference thread I'd be interested to see information aimed at less specific contexts as well.
