I am scheduled to fly into Rochester, MN with a connection in Minneapolis on NWA tomorrow evening. I would like to intentionally miss the connection to Rochester and spend the evening in the Twin Cities with friends and take a bus down to Rochester on Saturday. I would, however, like to board my plane on Monday from Rochester as scheduled. Will NWA put up a fuss that I never made my connecting flight and prevent me from boarding Monday?

I bought a non-refundable plane ticket on Sunday night from Northwest Airlines. It's now Tuesday afternoon and I need to make a change to my reservation. I know I can easily do this by paying their $100 service fee, but I'm trying to avoid this. Any help is appreciated. [more inside]

How do I get a free airline ticket? I've had two airlines independently lose my luggage this week, and one airline sent me to another airport to get on a flight that was eventually delayed another few hours after my initial flight was cancelled. With all these inconveniences, and the fact that my current trip is open-ended, I'd like to fly home for free. How can I make this happen? [more inside]
