Foolproof way to feed baby kittens?

I've got three new baby kittens with no mother, and I need to feed them. I don't have access to any good pet stores or veterinary clinics, but I do have lactose-free baby formula and a plastic syringe with the needle removed, which I've been using to feed them so far. But is there a foolproof method of holding them or something to get them to drink from it? I can usually get them to drink, but only about half of the amount recommended. More details inside. Need to find someone in NYC to help look after my Parkinsons-having dad.

I'll try to stick to specifically relevant snowflake stuff here. So, my father is 78 and has Parkinson's, which is compounded by long-standing blood pressure issues that leaves him prone to falling unexpectedly (moreso than a typical Parkinsons patient). He lives in a big loft in the East Village (NYC) that he's lived in for forty years, and has no designs on leaving. [more inside]

So, what gives? I thought nursing was a growth field

I'd always thought I'd be a nurse, and I finished all but the final pre-req before I veered off to work in insurance for a while. My question is, is there really a nursing bubble going on right now, and how is it affecting new grads and more experienced nurses? If there's no bubble, what are some of the reasons my more experienced RN friends are having problems finding work? Thank you

Teaching English to Spanish Nurses and Physios

I'm looking for materials for a university level program in Spain for the teaching of intermediate/advanced English to Spanish nursing and physiotherapy students. As coordinator of the programme, I'm on the lookout for recommendations for websites/other materials that I could use which people may have had positive experiences with. Hospital English looks pretty good, for example. The coursebooks will be the Oxford English for Careers (Nursing, Medicine series) by Tony Grice, unless anyone has any better suggestions!

What eco friendly rocking chairs for nursing do you recommend?

I'm due with my first baby later this year and am on the search for eco friendly products. I'm looking for a rocking chair that can also lock, is comfortable and cushioned (there's lots of just wood options out there), and is relatively reasonable budget wise (under $500 preferred). I want to avoid as much off gassing from new furniture as possible. What I've found so far is this and this one (which is not eco but more representative of what I'm looking for). Any experience with these or any other suggestions? Bonus points to anyone who can point me to an eco friendly, safe, well rated car seat (do they exist?!). Thanks.
