Help me sing a Dutch nursery rhyme to my daughter

My dad (who was Dutch) used to sing two nursery rhyme/children's songs to us and the grandchildren of my family. He passed away a few years ago and I'd like to sing it to my daughter but I have no idea how to spell (or even really pronouce the song title). Can you help me google it? [more inside]

What's the best way to spend $6000 on preschool for this kid?

We have two choices for morning school for our daughter, who is just turned two. Happy School is walking distance, 2hrs/day this year and 3hrs/day for the next three years after. It's a fairly structured ordinary preschool (one hour of library/circle time, one hour of playtime is a typical day) and $170/month. Flower School is 30 minutes away for 3+hrs/day and is a open-ended play school with lots of outdoor garden and art time that costs about $670/month. Our daughter has had trial weeks at both, and somewhat prefers Flower School. She came home worn out and chatty from her days there. The Happy School's teachers have given us short answers (She played a lot today) when we pick her up, while School B sends a daily short newsletter and thoughtful answers (She liked watering the plants, can you let her try at home). Expectant mefite ISO cat-pee proof chair for baby noms and writing work

For the past year or so, this has been my writing/computing set-up. The chair (a used Shermag glider) was super comfortable, but also super ugly. But my cat keeps peeing on it, and crazynesting has me wanting a better-looking (and smelling) cat-pee proof replacement. Challenge: under $200. [more inside]

How to build a perennial garden from the ground up?

Talk to me about building a perennial garden from the ground up. I'm a fairly new gardener, and have recently bought a number of plants online. This worked well, because we have a small but complicated garden layout (in terms of sun/shade/water) and I can figure out specifics without getting overwhelmed. I also enjoy being present in a nursery to see the plants in person, but the good places are a fairly long drive away and weekend crowds can drive me insane. Given a list of desired plants, how do you go about buying them? What is the most cost effective way of doing this? [more inside]

We are expecting our first child in the new year (yay!) and we are starting to put the nursery together. We found a crib, a rocking cradle, a change table, a chair and a car seat.
