YANMD, but: I have been practicing a bit of piano as of late. Maybe too much, as I started again out of the blue, and am working on a song that is relatively difficult for me. i noticed recently that my left shoulder is starting to tingle while playing. At first I thought it was just a one-day thing, but the problem is persisting and seems to be getting worse.

Ulnar nerve issues: I'm constantly waking up in the middle of the night with my pinky and ring finger, along with that part of my right hand going numb or asleep. I've had enough. YANMD, but what can I do?

My left pinky finger and the outer edge of my left hand are numb and a bit tingly, presumably due to ulnar nerve compression. Safe to wait a few days and see if it goes away, or urgent?

I have numbness after a nasty fall directly on my right knee. Saw a doc and had x-rays done (pelvis, knee, ankle). Nothing broken. Now my knee, plus half my thigh and half my calf are quite swollen and bruised. How long can I expect the numbness to last?

YANMD (and I am going to see one): Numbness in right arm and leg? No shooting pains, and I can use them both, but there's a general feeling of limbs falling asleep.

About 84 hours ago I had four wisdom teeth extracted. The bottom left, though, has been the most painful and swollen post-op. I've also noticed a strip along the left underside of my tongue was numb and, more significantly, that strip has since spread around the tip of my tongue. Should I be worried/what should I ask my doctor (whom you are not)?

I am wondering why my right arm randomly goes numb for no reason at all. I don't lift anything heavy or anything of that sort, so what could it possibly be?
Some of my friends seem to think these are early signs of a possible stroke or a heart attack but I can't really buy that since I am 22 years old, fairly relaxed with a normal amount of a stress than any college student would have.
I also take no medications, I live a fairly normal lifestyle.

Numb foot. I'm going to see the doctor about this next week, but wanted to get an idea of what people think this might be, and Google hasn't been so terribly helpful: I've been going all-but-completely numb in my left foot during the course of my four-to-six mile runs. It wears off when I get home, but sloooowwwwwly, and it's freaking me the fuck out. What's up?

The tip of my left big toe* sometimes gets numb, down to the point about half-way down the nail, all around the toe. I can't see any cause for this. It's not injured or gangrenous.

What can I do for numbness in the balls of my feet? Over the past year, as I approach 60, I have developed what I have self-diagnosed as a form of metatarsalgia - the balls of my feet get increasingly numb during the day - possibly due to thinning of the tissues in the feet. The more flexible and cushioned the shoe, the less the problem, and cushion inserts also help. Are there shoes and/or inserts that have helped others with this specific problem?

In virtually any chair, couch, car seat, etc., my buttocks gets sore, but only on the right side. This has been getting worse for 30 years (I am 60). My doctor was not helpful: "use a better pad".
I had to give up my recumbent bike--can't easily stand or squirm to relieve the pain/numbness. Does anyone know what might be the cause and treatment of this?

A few months back I had dangerously too much to drink. Sometime after that, I realized that the little finger of one hand has less sensation than it should. It's not completely numb and moves normally, but the partial numbness is disconcerting. Could alcohol consumption have caused this? Is this a symptom I should see a doctor about?
