Looking for a painting/image from Kubrick's "The Shining". It's the painting of the naked woman hanging above Scatman's bed in Miami. Here it is. Anyone have any ideas about identification? Is it a "known" painting/image? Anywhere I could buy a replica/poster? Looked online but can't seem to find much. Thanks for any help

What is the proper etiquette for the showers/ hot tub at the YMCA? I have been using my local YMCA for a few months now, and have so far not used the showers or the hot tub.... but I would love to do so. My question is this - what's the dress code? naked for the shower? naked in the hut tub? bathing suit? I have no idea. I don't mind being naked around other men, I just don't want to be the naked man who's doing it wrong. I know, it's a silly question. but still.

Help me identify a clip I saw randomly at a bar. So I'm at the Holiday Club in Chicago which is having New Wave night and showing random '80's video on the TV. I just saw a clip of a bald man and a bald woman making out in a all white space before silver android looking things came and took the man away. The guy looked maybe like Dennis Hopper. There was nipple so it must have been from a movie or HBO or something. Anybody have any guesses? Thanks

I understand changes are coming to US CODE: Title 18-2257 - the record keeping requirements designed to stop child pornography. What effect, if any, will this have on people who are not in the pornography business? Specifically, what effect will this have on photographers who shoot and blog, say, erotically charged photos of clothed adults, or simple art nudes of adults? Will they be faced with onerous new record keeping requirements soon? Will the requirements apply retroactively to already published (blogged) work?

My mom had a print of a painting when I was little ...I want this print for my house and peace of mind...NSFW What I remember
~at least 22 years ago, at the very minimum is when I first saw this.
~it was a print of a painting, not an actual painting
~very simple painting with seablue/green background. I think there might have been stubbly little trees, I dont remember
~it had these little square forehead naked painted peach blocky cartoonish naked troll looking men with HUGE penis's. They were outlined in black and had minimal facial features. Almost Easter Island/Mayan drawing look to the men
~it was either done in ink or watercolor, it was very even toned and smooth. Not "chunky" like an oil painting

My mom no longer remembers/denys ever having this print. She says that I am crazy and that she would never hang something so "obscene" on her walls...

But I know she had it, and can picture it up on the master bedroom wall of each of the different houses I grew up in. This can not possibly be my overactive imagination. Please help me prove a point that I am not out of my mind.

I have been googling this on an off for a few years at least. Help!

I was thinking something in the lines of them dogs playing poker type of frame.

Based on your suggestions, should I have the framing done in a mall? Anywhere else? I have no idea and obviously would not like being ripped off. Maybe $100 tops or the framing?

Who said you can tell how someone was loved by seeing someone them walk in the nuddy?

Where to process nude photos? My partner and I have recently decided to do some nude photos of one another. We'd like to use an actual film camera instead of digital, but fear that pervs at the processing lab might steal copies for themselves. Is this stupid paranoia, or is it justified? If it is a legit concern, are there certain processing/developing labs that would be more trustworthy than others?

What naked games or exercises can I play with my partner that are intimate, loving and/ or fun but don't necessarily involve sex? I don't really want our sex life to be just about sex (as it is at the moment) - I want to learn about my partner and deepen that aspect of our relationship. I know people play with blindfolds and feathers and sitting naked opposite each other, but I think it'd be easier for me (and my partner) if these things were wrapped up in a game or activity.

What's your favorites? Or maybe you don't know of any, but you can share some that you've heard friends talk of...?

Advice for finding reputable photographer for nude photos

How do I find a reputable photographer who will take artistic nude black and white photos of me? So I'm staring 40 in the face. I've been fortunate enough to have some free time this past year and I've taken advantage of it by getting in pretty good shape. Because of that, I'd like to memoralize this stage in my life. Someday, when I'm 70 (hopefully), I want to look back and say, "wow, I was sort of a babe back then." The thing is, these photos would only be for me -- not for display and not to show anyone but my husband. While I'd want them to be sensual, I would hate for them to look like the typical boudair photo which resembles a "glamour shot" taken with the subject in a feather boa and a polyester teddie. I'd want something in black and white that emphasizes the curves of the female form; me on my back showing the curvature of my butt or shot of leg as it extends to my hipbone and stomach. Basically, nothing that would require me to stare into the camera and feign some kind of look of passion.

So my questions are: 1) who would do this kind of photography? Do I look under artistic photography, erotic, nude, etc.; 2) Look where? In a phone book? Is there a professional organization for nude photographers that has more than one member named Billy Bob who swears he'll destroy all copies?; and 3), not that anyone past the age of 55 would be interested in looking at the naked form of a 39-year-old woman, but I would hate for these to be anything other than a snapshot for myself and my husband of a specific time in my life. God forbid my photos start showing up on craigslist or something equally humiliating. How do I ensure this doesn't happen?

Although I don't live there now, in approximately 4 weeks, I will be moving to the DC metro region where I assume my choices of photographers will be much improved. Do I troll art galleries looking for nude photos I like and trying to contact the artists? (Can you tell I'm completely flummoxed here?) Also, while I want these to be professionally done, I am by no means wealthy so someone world-renowned for their artistic nude photos would be way out of my price range. On the flip side, someone with 3 megapixel digital camera and a red shower curtain as a backdrop isn't what I'm looking for either.

So -- any words of wisdom from the hive mind?

How does a female break into non-pornographic nude modeling? As part of the process of growing more comfortable with my body, I would like to do a little nude modeling. Not porn, just modeling for a life-drawing class at a respectable institution. Is this a good idea? Has anyone had pertinent experiences? Who do I contact? Will I sound like a freak for emailing a professor "Will you let your students draw me naked?" Have you ever had awkward run-ins with students outside of class--"Hey, I done drawn you in yer burfday suit!" Thanks!
