How many people work at NPR inc. National Public Radio what is the total number of employees? I can't find the info in their annual reports.

Help me find a book about a Chinese businessman mentioned on NPR for my Dad! My Dad says he was listening to NPR a few months ago and he heard an interview with a Western author about his nonfiction book. The book was about (paraphrasing, could be wrong) a Chinese businessman who imported automobiles, got too rich for the government's liking, and fled in a rowboat.

Any ideas? I have tried googling and looking on the NPR website and I am not coming up with any good results.

I am looking for the name of the author, name of the book, or anything that helps me be able to buy it!

I want to find the name of a company I heard about on NPR. They sell framed words made out of photographs of things that look like letters. It was on this morning between 8 and 9 AM EST. The company was started by a couple who wanted to teach their daughter the alphabet and so drove around taking pics of things that looked like letters. The company is apparently huge now with expected sales of $10 million! I couldn't find evidence ofit on NPR's site though.

What other business news coverage is similar to NPR's Marketplace? It could be a magazine, a radio show, whatever. Something with a more progessive perspective that does compelling stories with interesting narratives. Not necessarily corporate investigative exposes, but also not necessarily business coverage geared towards business people. Thought provoking coverage of current events and trends in business for thinking people who aren't necessarily business oriented in their professional lives.
