I'm looking for famous movie quotes that contain either the word "here" or the word "now". They would ideally be quotes that anyone would recognize, like "Now is the winter of our discontent." This is, as you might expect, difficult to search for.

How do I expand Now Compress archives?

I'm trying to find a way to expand a file that's in an ancient Mac archive format (Now Compress). So I find myself needing to access some files I created back in the mid-1990s. Back then, I had everything on floppies (remember them?) which later on got archived on Jaz discs (remember those?) which were in turn copied over onto cds. There's a bunch of things in those files that I now find myself wanting to access.

Only problem is, most of the files have a ".now" extension. As I recall, that's the extension "Now Compress" used for their archived files. Fort hose that don't remember, Now Compress was part of "Now Utilities", which used to be THE utility package for the Mac back in the OS9 days. Now Compress was sort of Now's "Stuffit" program. It could compress files automatically, create archives, etc. I can barely find information on Google about the old program, let alone any suggestions of how to handle these files nowadays.

So the question is, does anybody know of a program that runs under today's OSX that can expand these files? I'm in a quandry!

How do I force Netflix to buffer?

How do I choose a higher streaming rate when I'm using Netflix's "Watch Now" feature? Right now I'm using a 768 connection, and it's fine for everyday life, except that I can't watch netflix watch now movies in a decent quality. I don't mind waiting for my computer to buffer the entire thing before I watch it, but I can't find a way to choose the stream that I want. I've seen the greasemonkey script hack from rorta, but the forum says that this doesn't work anymore. (Also seen on lifehacker)

Are there any other options? I don't want to rip the movie or copy it to another computer, or even play it in another player (although I will do any of those if need be). All I want to do is just choose a higher bitrate.

Is there some kind of cookie variable I can change to start the download in high, and then press the pause button to let it buffer? I've tried looking in the source for the page, and downloading a stream manually in Windows Media Player, but although it downloaded a license, the movie never played.

Depilation & tretinoin?

I've been using tretinoin for adult acne since July, and my purge phase seems like its never going to end. One thing that seems to re-aggravate my skin when it's ready to calm down is depilation. I used to wax my upper lip, but the tretinoin label specifically says not to wax. Tweezing, both lips and brows, seems to provoke more zits, as well as taking for-freaking-ever. I've been thinking about bleaching the hair on my upper lip, but am worried that this will just make everything bust out anew.
I'm hairy as a saquatch and covered in zits. Please help!

Seismologists: how likely is a major Pacific Northwest earthquake? The Canadian Geological Survey seems to think a big quake is likely. The Pacific Geoscience Center thinks the probability went up, but is still very low. Is there cause for concern, or is this just more of the typical Pacific Northwest "Big One" worry?
