I have a 15 gig iPhone of the previous generation, and the Safari web browser has had some interesting quirks of late. When I've left websites with logins unattended for more than, say, thirty seconds, I automatically get logged out (even when I've clicked the "keep me logged in" box on the login page). More recently, the cache has "forgotten" the URLs for websites I frequent. I've set "never" to the Block Cookies option in settings. What can I do to get Safari to keep me logged in and to cache/remember the sites I visit?

For example, should the phrase be "I care naught for him" or "I care not for him"? I see the argument for the former (i.e. "I care nothing for him") and the latter ("I don't care for him"), but is one better than the other? Are they interchangeable, or significantly different?

I've just bought my first home and moved into my new place (hooray!). I've never had a dishwasher before and as such, I haven't used it once during my first week of living in the new place. This weekend though, I ran the dishwasher for the first time and urgh, once the cycle was finished, I opened the door and the dishwasher was still full of water :( What is the likely cause and can I fix it myself? Also, all appliances in the house were supposed to be in working order.... do I have any leg to stand on in asking the seller about this?

I love my part-time job, but it doesn't pay the bills. In order for it to become a full-time job that pays the bills, I have to go back to school and get a master's (library science - yay for very little career opportunities!). In order to go back to school, I need to get a full time job and earn some money to pay for school. I just accepted a full time office assistant position in a law firm. I'm not excited at all. Help! Hi all, my Sony Xperia J isn't reading sim cards. The sim card (3) that came with the phone works on other phones; the Xperia won't read other sim cards. What can I do to get this handset working? This is my work phone and I'm the breadwinner around here, so it's a bit urgent! Thanks. I've got two Win7 PCs to assist in fixing it.
I'm looking for lines of dialogue from movies, novels, or elsewhere, in which someone says that something is not an X, even though it is an X, just not a mere X or typical X. An example of the type of exchange I'm looking for: "Wow, you spent a year's salary on a car?" "A car? This is isn't a car. It's a Lamborghini!" The second person knows that their Lamborghini is a car, but means to express that it isn't just a car. (It's important for my purposes that the person doesn't say 'just'.) There must be some recognizable instances of this type of speech, but I'm drawing a blank. Any ideas?

In the past year, a lot of networking opportunities have involved drinking. "Let's grab a drink together," "We're having drinks and reading our work at my place," "You should grab a drink with my friend so-and-so, he'll tell you the downlow on this job," etc. Which is all fine and dandy except for the drinking bit... how do I decline to drink and still take advantage of these? I just ran a red light in Brooklyn and was pulled over by police.
