I'm a huge fan of retailers who have lifetime guarantees or warranties. I'm trying to make an effort to buy more from these places. The retailers that I've enjoyed with these features include REI, Eddie Bauer, The North Face, Eastpak, Jansport and Koss headphones.
Are there any more I should be aware of? I've heard about Briggs & Riley suitcases and Craftsman tools. Please let me know of any others and of your favorites.

Please share your recommendations on books about North Korea.
I have seen
this question from 2007 but I'd like books about history and culture as well as modern day North Korea. Fiction recommendations are also welcome. I have already read and enjoyed Nothing to Envy by Barbara Demick.
My only request is that they're available as an eBook - preferably as an ePub.

I'm coordinating a project that involves sending participants to remote communities in the Canadian North. The communities have varying speeds of internet connection, but in general, I've been told it's pretty slow, and sometimes bandwidth is restricted. The participants need to record video of themselves and send it to their evaluators back here in the city. What is the best (free) solution?

ChristmasBookFilter: Looking for a book, probably published in the 90's, purporting to be a travel log of author's journey to the North Pole complete with maps of Santa's airstrip, toy factory layout, etc. The book maintains the fiction from beginning to end and is nicely done.
