FilemakerPro to .CSV to NeonCRM - How to Excel?

Excel experts and fundraising professionals, ho! I work for a small non-profit and we're currently transitioning from a janky FilemakerPro database to NeonCRM. I have all the data spread across three spreadsheets and my brain is collapsing trying to figure out the best way to deal with it. What's the best/most efficient way to compare data between three separate spreadsheets, and manipulate it into the format I need for this import? All the necessary/boring details lie within! Ripping off the bandaid on a tricky work situation

I start a new job in a month leading a medium-sized non-profit! Horray! The issue is that at my new job, we already had to make a hiring decision to replace someone who is retiring after 35 years. The person who is the best fit to take that spot is someone i supervise at my current job. I offered him the position today; he accepted on the spot. I need to figure out the best way to break the news about this to my current employer. [more inside]

Nonprofit ticket sales for London theatre with 24-hour turnaround?

Can anyone recommend, from personal experience, the best site to turn this around in about 24 hours?

How do I best navigate being edged out of a professional opportunity?

Non-profit: I found a grant and brought in two colleagues in my department to choose what we would propose for the grant, to write it and implement it. One of these colleagues who previous to this I would have described as a friend also has completely taken it over and basically pushed me out of the process. How do I get involved again? Or should I just say hindsight is 20/20 and let go of it all? [more inside]

Is there any hope for a problematic board?

Since I joined a nonprofit that I deeply care about as the Executive Director, we've had a clear turnaround - everyone, including the board, agrees that we're both much more financially stable and successful with our mission than when we started. However, there are a series of serious issues regarding funding and real estate that, if not resolved in the next couple of years, will spell the end of the nonprofit, and these are issues I can't tackle alone. The board are dragging their feet - primarily, it seems, out of confusion and lack of desire to become engaged. I've tried several approaches to raise these issues and get the board activated. What are all my options?

Canadian volunteering for a year in the US for a religious nonprofit

My girlfriend and I will be volunteering at a mountain retreat center/camp in the US for a year. This retreat center is a religious nonprofit affiliated with a mainline protestant denomination and has existed since the '60s (and I have visited it many times before, as a member of that denomination). We will be paid a stipend of $550 a month each and have benefits like room & board, health and dental insurance...or at least I, as a US citizen, will get them. How do I avoid burnout in my new position at a non-profit
