I have two Nokia mobile phones - one purchased in the US and one that I've purchased here in Indonesia, both with their own similar-looking chargers (though with obvious differences on the plugs). Can I charge the Indonesian phone in the US on the US charger? [more inside]

Can anyone point me to a recent article or post about Nokia and its relationship to Finnish subcontractors and/or unions?
I read it. Now that it has become somewhat important, can not find it. [more inside]

I have a Nokia smartphone. I have T-Mobile. But T-Mobile doesn't sell my phone, so they won't give me a smartphone unlimited data plan and I'm stuck with the much more expensive Total Internet package. But if I log in to T-Mobile's self service site, I can tell them I have any damn phone I like. So if I do that, and tell them I have a Blackberry or a Sidekick, and pick the BB or SK smartphone plans, is there some technical reason it won't just work? Am I in any serious danger of cancellation by violating the TOS or anything else?

I have deleted a molder of SMS messages from my Nokia N80. I did it by accident, and I'd quite like them back. I am a clutz. Can anyone tell me if there's an easy solution or software to "undelete" them?!

After a long love affair with my Treo, I've gone and bought a Nokia 9500. It's too big to be my primary phone but I'm hoping it can replace my laptop when I'm travelling. What Series 80 software do you folks consider as essential?

Even at maximum phone volume, the output from the handsfree set that Nokia sells with the 6620 cellphone is too quiet for me. There's no volume control on the handsfree set. Does anybody make one that will let me turn up the volume? [more inside]

I'd like to write a few applications for my Nokia 3650. I've played a little bit with Nokia's developer APIs in C++, and I've looked at a few J2ME code examples, but I don't have significant experience in either. I don't have the time (or interest) to become proficient in both - which development kit should I dive into, and why? I'm more concerned with performance on the 3650 than other phones, and I'm a pretty good programmer, so a steep learning curve is not too much of a concern. Thanks in advance.

I got a new cell phone, and my old one was deactivated and handed back to me. Is there any way to make an orphaned, numberless Nokia useful again (for when Sprint's coverage fades, like it has all this weekend) without signing a contract for a monthly fee? TracFone makes you buy a new phone, which is the opposite of what I'm looking for. Prepaid long distance cards seem to be only for land lines. Am I missing the magic google search term?
