Game-name filter: DOS ninjas?

Idle nostalgic curiosity is driving me crazy - looking for at least the name (at best, a working version) of a late 80s/early 90s DOS (not arcade) 2-d ninja game - very simple, and the most notable characteristic is that the entire game was in uber-simple orange-red-green VGA palette colors against a black background. It's NOT any of the Ninja Gaiden games or anything else easily Googled up. The graphics were very simple but relatively detailed and professionally done and the game involved platformer-style moving through levels, climbing ladders, throwing shuriken at enemies, etc. It was not a one-on-one fighting game.

More likely than not this was free/shareware.

I know this is a longshot, but there's no better place for longshot answers than here, right?

Did ninjas ever actually exist?

Are ninjas bullshit? It seems like a simple question -- did ninjas exist? At all? But lots of Googling has served to just make me more confused (the wikipedia article seems totally unsourced). Certainly, the flipping-out superpowered ninja thing is a myth, and I feel pretty sure that all modern day "ninjutsu" is made up, but I just want to know. Is there a definative debunking? Or bunking?

How do they do it?

Why do Japanese game show contestants seem to feel no pain? We are fans of MXC and Ninja Warrior. But we can't get over how many of the contestants take amazingly hard hits or crash down onto obstacles, then come up laughing! Do they really not get hurt?

Or is it a "saving face," cultural kind of thing, where it's bad form to appear weak/show pain?

TMNT T?

I am in search of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles t-shirt for a little boy who is turning four. The kid is obsessed with those turtles, and really wants a TMNT t-shirt. His birthday is coming up next week and it would be fun to get him one and be the hero-aunt. However, I can't find a TMNT t-shirt in his size (4T or a kids' size small) anywhere; they seem to be available only in adult sizes. I thought the TMNT were pretty popular among kids his age, though, so I suspect that the shirt I'm looking for exists and I've just been missing it. Anyone seen one available recently? I would prefer not to order it online, but I have easy access to many chain stores.

animated gif source/link

Animated gif source -- guy tosses gun in the air and catches it in pants; shoots ninjas. Know where it's from? Checked the scrapers but haven't seen this one in awhile.

Short clip of a guy who tosses a gun in the air. It spins several times, then he catches it in his pants and hip-shoots several ninjas a short distance away.

Where is this from?
Bonus points for a link to a copy of it!
