4 month old not sleeping, ferber, swaddle transition- ADVICE!

My 4 month old sweet little girl decided about 2 weeks ago she didn't want to sleep her usual 5-7 hours through the night, and now wakes up every hour or two needing help getting back to sleep, and it's killing me :( Our bedtime routine consist of bottle, bath, then rock until she's asleep at between 7-8 pm. She would sleep until 1-3 am for a feed and then sleep again until 6-7am...not anymore and it's continued for a couple weeks. She uses a pacifier which is the biggest culprit, and she is still swaddled. It's a vicious cycle, re-swaddle her tight, the paci falls out she wakes up crying, or even the paci will still be in and she will drop it just waking up grunting and wiggling around and then it falls out. She is a very active sleeper, I feel like she's trying to get out of the swaddle all night. Usually I have to pick her up and rock her back to sleep or get up to pat her back put the paci back in. Leaving my baby

I'm leaving my 7 month old baby with his other mom for three days. This will be the first time I'm away from him for longer than a couple of hours, and the first time I won't be able to nurse him. I am really anxious about this. What can I do to help this go as smoothly as possible, and keep me sane? [more inside]

Cat, baby, sleep. Safety?

My wife and I will have our first kid in June. Our cat is a sweet, lovable, completely insane little pain-in-the-butt. He loves snuggling up to both of us, especially when my wife naps, but he's not allowed to sleep with us. But now we have to think about Baby Kickstart. [more inside]
