Hunan Pan was at the SE corner of Hudson & Perry when I left NY in 86; I don’t know when it closed. Does anyone know if they moved somewhere, or opened another restaurant? I was quite attached to the place for a few years, and haven’t seen a couple of dishes done quite so well anywhere else.

I had a beautiful restaurant space fall into my lap. I've been dreaming about having a restaurant. I committed to signing a contract with the owner. Now what?

I am helping my friends open a bar and we are trying to figure out the math behind what to charge for drinks. Is there some sort of formula we should be aware of?

NYC Restaurant Filter: Looking for a nice restaurant very close to Carnegie Hall for dinner on Wednesday night. (Or walking distance from Madison Sq Park would also work.)

We're going to a wedding with my in-laws on E. 69 and Park and are looking for a good place nearby to take them for lunch. Some place classy but not too hoity-toity... and a good beer/wine selection would be a plus. Authentic Japanese, Indian, French, all responses welcome!

Yet another NYC restaurant recommendation request: Taking ~15 colleagues out to dinner, walking from Times Square (46th&Broadway), looking to spend $20-30 per head, and be able to make a same-day reservation. Tall order, but bonus points for an NYC experience not available in Toronto/Montreal.

Greenwich Village NYC EVENT restaurant recommendation. We're looking for a restaurant in the Village that is an experience to go to. Not because of the food--the food doesn't even have to be that good. More looking for an experience or extraoridinary atmosphere.
We have guests coming in to the city that will probably go to a lot of other areas in the city over the next few days, but probably not to the Village. So what ideas are there for an experience, as opposed to a great meal, in the East or West Village, or walking distance?
