How to set up LAN-only SSH on the D-Link TM-G5240?

I have a D-Link TM-G5240 wireless router, and I want to set it up to allow SSH traffic strictly over the LAN; i.e., no access from outside. (I don't envision ever needing to SSH into our home network from anywhere else, so I'd like to keep anyone else from being able to do so.) What's the best way to go about it? Keep in mind, I'm a networking novice.

A/S/L...and?

I've agreed to participate in a speed networking event. I'll be chatting with 20-30 people. How do I keep it fresh and not ask each person the same question? What can/do I want to know about someone in 3 minutes? How do I use this to improve my own 'elevator speech'?

VDSL2 DSLAMs

IT/Telecom people: I'm bringing a 1Gbps metro Ethernet connection into the basement of a large apartment building. Finding a new wolfpack(s) -- Looking for advice on finding mentors, professional, exercise or party friends

I'd prefer to not be a one-man wolfpack, but I am rather introverted and take some time to get close to people. Due to friends' babies/marriage/moving for jobs I've found I'm in my 30's now and am looking for a new group of friends to run with. My best friend (also my last close adventurous homie) has been ensnared by a female. And she's ready to breed. So after I fulfill my Best Man duties, I probably won't be seeing him too much anymore and am looking for advice on how to find new friends in four areas: exercise, professional, party or mentors. Need help with job search techniques

I was laid off from my job almost 2 years ago, and while it was depressing, I was unhappy and was starting to explore a new industry, anyway. In the past 2 years, I have spent a year and a half going back to school full time for a more specific degree that supplements my BA. I also took on a few internships along the way. I graduated in January and have been looking for a full time position without any sort of success. Clearly I am going about this in the wrong way; what should I be doing differently? More details below. [more inside]

How to connect two wireless routers to a single cable modem?

How can I connect two wireless routers (Fonera first generation and Apple Airport Express) to a single cable modem through an ethernet hub to establish two separate networks? I am able to connect one or the other to the cable modem through the ethernet hub, but I cannot connect both. Both wireless routers have only a single ethernet port. I currently have Comcast as my ISP, if that helps.

Relatively tech-capable but need some advice...

We've purchased the business (yay!), and now it's time to determine how to set up the office network. I'm fairly certain that we'll start with peer-to-peer (vs. client-server), but I could use some advice to make sure this is the way to go, and I'd also like to know if it's possible to make changes to a file on a computer (via a remote desktop tool) that's concurrently running an application.
