Looking for a network building/maintaining tool. Is there some sort of app (mac or web based) that will allow me to track how long it has been since talking to someone? Ideally I'd like to see one page with a horizontal bar graph with the number of days since last contact on the x-axis. So as the time between talking grows, the bar expands outwards. [more inside]

Can anyone suggest a catchy tagline for a networking site for doctors? Everything I come up with just seems so mundane!

Warning: Networking Geekery Ahead Once upon a time I was able to use VNC viewer (the binary executable, not the java viewer) on my work Windows XP PC to connect to VNC server on my home Windows XP PC via Port 443. This allowed me to view and control my home desktop in a window on my work PC and thereby do an end run around the restrictive web filter/firewall at work. It was slow, but it was still useable and reliable.
I stopped using it for a couple of weeks when I lost my USB key. I recently found it and tried my VNC connection again from work. It doesn't work now. [more inside]

I want to create my own social bookmarking site. I don't know much about coding, but I've got some good ideas. Is this possible? How do I begin? Am I insane/idiotic for even contemplating this? [more inside]

Does anyone have their blog on their business card?
Have you handed it out in an attempt at networking? What has the response been? Positive? Negative? (More Inside) [more inside]

I am taking a brain-painful networking class (hint: it's all about the routers
, baby!) and the studying is intense. It's hard, but I'm holding my own. I see questions here on AskMe that bring really cool answers from lots of folks, with a lot of repeat answerers, which leads me to ask, How Did You Learn What You Know About Computers/the Internet? Was it in school? Did you apprentice with someone who had m4d sk1lz? Did you teach yourself? Other?
