I have a Linksys WCG200 cable modem/wireless router combo device. It sucks at wireless (and extensive Googling has indicated that's unfixable), but it's OK at everything else. Can I pick up a $30 wireless router, plug that into the device I have now, and use that without any loss of quality? Would I need any other devices? Would it just be easier to get a new stand-alone cable modem as well?

I'm pretty sure one of my housemates is killing our network by clogging it with her bittorrent traffic. Is there anything I can do, without access to her computer, to make the internet work properly?

What are the wireless ranges of the 802.11g radios in the following:
WRT54G
WRT610N
I specifically would like to know the range of each and does the WRT610N 802.11G radio have a greater range than the WRT54G 802.11G radio.
Not surprisingly, Linksys couldn't even help me.

How do I really - no,
really - put my home server in my Linksys WRT350N router's DMZ? The router says it is, but it clearly isn't.

What's the best way to get my wireless router (Linksys WRT54G2) to play nice with my Vonage VOIP adaptor (Motorola VT 1005)? Frequently when I'm trying to upload somewhat sizeable files (e.g., like a minute-long movie to youtube), I lose my connection and have to reboot.

Supporting about 35 computers and have had two switches (Netgear, Linksys) die in the last year. Looking for suggestions of brands we can stick with that are cheaper than Cisco.

I'm having strange Wireless issues. I've tried two PCI cards (they were both LINKSYS WMP11 PCI Wireless-B Adapter) and a USB dongle (Netgear WG111T USB) in Windows XP and Ubuntu Feisty Fawn.
Any time I get to the point where the wireless connection is being made, the computer completely freezes. No keyboard or mouse response at all. I have to shut the computer's power off. Any suggestions?

EarlyAdopterFilter: After several happy months of running Windows Vista RC1, I've upgraded to RC2. Ever since that day, I've been intermittently getting a "Limited connectivity" error that requires my network adapter to be reset. I don't want to go back to XP or RC1, so I need to make this work.

Last week, I updated my linksys WRT54G's firmware and soon the hardware was dead (I think it was a coincidence). I was stranded without a connection and picked up a brand new
WRT54GS which worked ok, but keeps dropping wireless clients and the point will disappear every so often, even though it is only 15 feet away. How can I fix this? (a bit more inside)
