I would like to setup a webcam that is connected to a LAN. It takes a picture every x-seconds and sends it to a webserver. the webserver then servers the most recent picture to the world (like 300-500 users at a time, i have the internet pipe to do it) but does not delete the pics from the previous second.

I recently got hold of a PowerMac 5500/2275 (the black one with the TV tuner), but the ethernet port has been upgraded, and is now a modem.
