What kind of RAM should I buy for my netbook?

I currently have an Asus eeepc 1005P. I want to add an extra 1gb of memory to it, but I'm unsure of what kind of RAM I should be buying/looking at. I've looked at a few other forums and such but they seem to be a little vague as to what exactly I should be looking for. Help would be much appreciated

How do I safely remove my netbook's chiclet keys?

I own an Asus netbook with a chiclet keyboard. I've had it for about a year and a half now and I would really like to properly clean the keyboard. But I can't seem to find instructions for how to take the keys off and clearly I don't want to break them! Has anyone out there done this before? Is it possible? [more inside]

Is a 12-cell netbook batttery a good deal?

I need a replacement battery for my Asus 1000HE netbook. I've been looking on Ebay, and it looks like they have some 12-cell batteries, whereas the original I got was (I think) 6. Does anybody have one of these, to know whether they're a good deal, how much bulk they add to the computer, etc?

Slower than a three-toed sloth at a narcolepsy convention

GeekFilter: I just bought an Asus eee PC 900 (the model with the 16 GB HD). I needed a spare laptop fast, since my MacBook Pro had a mishap on the road and has to be repaired. I bought the eee at Best Buy, so it's running Win XP and not Linux. Problem: it's very slow. Question: should I return it, or put Linux on it when I get home? [more inside]
