Can you help me identify this neon beer sign?

Can you help me identify this neon beer sign? This neon sign hung in the window of a bar. Sadly, it was inadvertently destroyed. The only remaining record of the sign is this crappy iPhone photo. Can you help me figure out what it is?

I'm thinking Miller Lite, because that first L looks miller-y, and it could be for letters ending in e. But where would the Miller be? Also, I can't find any pics of a working neon sign that look like this.

Ideally, I want to buy a replacement for the sign.

How do I stop being Neal from "Good Old Neon"?

So, I just read David Foster Wallace's "Good Old Neon", and I feel like Neal is a creepily accurate description of myself at this point in my life. What do I do? (Sorry for not linking, but apparently nobody has thought of pirating this story to the Internebs just yet...)

It may have been a bad idea, but I just recently ordered whatever I could find of David Foster Wallace's writing and have made my way to "Oblivion" now, and while I felt touched by many of his characters, "Good Old Neon" was really mind-blowing in its identification potential.

I know the achievement/disappointment/fear pattern quite intimately. My perspectives on therapy, meditation and religion as coping mechanisms are almost exactly as described in the story. What ways out of this would you recommend if the one from the story (involving a car, a bridge abutment, and "stepping out of linear time") was not an option?

(As a side note, I am slightly frightened by the fact that even the schoolmate who has "emerged from years of literally indescribable war against himself" ultimately seems to have been deluded about his emergence.)

Blinker stopped working on my 2000 Dodge Neon

My blinker on my 2000 Dodge Neon has been working only intermittently. Could this be a fuse issue, or would it not be working at all? The most common response is that the blinker will blink two or three times (in either direction) before giving out and needing to be reactivated. There have been times that it doesn't activate at all, and times where it keeps going fine for a short while without any breaks in service. I don't know enough about car repair to do anything requiring new parts or wiring. Could this possibly be a faulty fuse? This is probably the extent of my ability to fix it. If so, I'd like to try and see if this works before taking it in for more expensive repairs.

Know any good mechanics?

DC-area MeFites: would you recommend your auto mechanic? I need to get my Neon worked on and would like to not be ripped off. You've already helped diagnose the problem, now help me find the solution! I've had one solid recommendation for a mechanic in Annandale but that's pretty far away (I live in Glover Park). Can anyone offer suggestions for a mechanic who works on Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth closer in to DC?

A thousand grateful thanks in advance!

Why won't my car go in reverse?

Please diagnose my car problem! My 2000 Dodge Neon has stopped going in reverse. It's a 5-speed manual that has worked fine until about a week ago, when it began randomly refusing to go into reverse. Previously, I could eventually get it to work by messing with the gear shift long enough. Now I can't get it to work at all.

You guys, I know NOTHING about cars. I am also flat broke. Does this mean I need a new transmission? I realize you need to have a look at it to know for sure, but what does it sound like to you?

Who played a Pollock like neon guitar in the 80s?

In the 80's, which guitarist played a white guitar daubed with paint splotches and Pollock-like streaks of neon pink and green, among other colors? I recall seeing the guitar (probably in a video), but can't place the guitarist or find any images.

Asthma Vapineze?

What is the meaning of the Asthma Vapineze sign on Fairfax in Los Angeles? Been wondering about this sign, also seen here, for years. Googling only confirms what a mystery it is.

Anyone??

Neon bar sign on the blink!

Neon bar sign on the blink! I have a neon bar sign on my kitchen wall (Budweiser Chameleon if you must know - yes, I'm a classy bloke!). It's about 5 years old, and recently it has started intermittently going off and back on every few minutes, as if it's in a David Lynch film! Is this a terminal condition or can it be fixed?

Yet another name that artist..

name that artist filter: Who's rapping in the Neon Genesis Evangelion Symphony Soundtrack? My google-fu has not turned up anything, but in the Neon Genesis Evangelion Symphony Album, there is a rap version of Canon in D (CD 2, track 4).

I have no idea who it is rapping, do you?
