I saw this necklace at the National Gallery museum store. Didn't buy it when I had the opportunity, now the museum store neither has it in stock nor knows anything about it so I can track it down. To me it looks like a lightweight opera-length geometric necklace or cube chain, but google searches have not turned up anything. It was just over $100. Can you help me find this, or something like this?

I bought a couple necklaces at an estate sale. They are vermeil (gold plating over sterling silver) and as such bear 925 Italy marks on the clasps, and also have a cursive V that in a stretch could perhaps be read as a 6V or a GV but really just looks to me like a cursive V. I figure it's either the maker (and if so, does anyone know what company?) or it's a code I don't yet know for the amount/quality of gold used or perhaps it literally stands for vermeil. Google unhelpfully keeps offering initial necklaces of the letter V.
I wear two pendants, each on 1mm silver snake chains (one 18-inch and one 20-inch) daily. They are always getting twisted together and I have to unravel them from one another a few times a day. Is there some hack or solution to this problem that I haven't considered? [more inside]

So, I was watching a thing on the Science Channel tonight, and one of the women on the show was wearing this great boombox necklace; you can see a picture here. I've been searching online for one like it, but surprisingly, I haven't had any luck. The ones I have found lack the details that I really want: I don't want just a little charm; I don't want one that hangs from one corner (I love the way the original is attached to the chain at both corners); I don't want plastic. I would really prefer silver, at least in color. Help?
I've worn this necklace every day for nearly 10 years now, but I don't know what it is. [more inside]
I was watching the US version of Antiques Roadshow the other week and during one of the appraisals, I was way more interested in the necklace worn by one of the experts. It seems like this type of design is specific style, but random Googling and looking through the gift shop websites for museums like the Met hasn't yielded an answer. I'd love to figure if this is a specific style and potentially keep an eye out for other versions of it. Here's a screenshot... [more inside]

I am looking for links to places online (or names of brick-and-mortar shops accessible to the Seattle or Portland area) where I can find a unique and unusual pendant for a man. The price should be in the $75-$150 range. I already have a white gold chain so I am looking for the pendant alone. [more inside]

A couple months back I was loading a truck and the Russian/Slavic-looking/sounding driver (and the name of the truck line/owner printed on the truck was definitely Slavic) had a hole cut in his shirt and his necklace/pendant was pulled thru the hole so that it was visible. My somewhat foggy memory thinks it was something religious icon-y. My question: Is this something other than an individual quirk and if so can you tell me about it?
I have a silver (silver colored, not sure what it's made of, but it tarnishes) necklace that had been stuffed in a round box in storage, for quite a few months. I'd like to fix it. [more inside]

Where can I buy this necklace? At the store the other day I saw someone wearing a heart-shaped pendant with a clear covering in the center that displayed lgbt pride colors. It looked kind of like this, except there weren't any symbols in the middle, the rainbow colors were straight across instead of wavy and it wasn't a keychain.

I wear a lovely necklace. It's an 18in sterling silver chain with a little teardrop pendant on it. I love it, but one thing that annoys me is how often the clasp slips down to the front. Now that I have started paying attention to it, I notice it about every 15 minutes. What I'm also noticing is that it ALWAYS comes down on the same side of my neck. This begs the question: How? Do I turn my head to one side more than the other? Am I somehow assymetrical?
