Should I give my video to the news media?

I took a video at an anti-Trump protest. Just chanting and marching, nothing too dramatic. NBC assignment editor contacted me on Twitter and wants to use on "all platforms/partners (with credit)". Any downside? It feels weird to give this away for free, but OTOH I'm sure she's not going to pay me for it. I don't care if my Twitter handle is associated with it.

Why did 30 Rock drop so many storylines between Seasons 3 and 4?

I've been re-watching 30 Rock on Netflix this week, and I realized there were major story lines season 3 that seem to have been unapologetically dropped at the start of season 4. For instance, season 3 ends with a television event to find Milton Green a kidney...and, apart from a later mention of Elvis Costello, this major storyline is never mentioned again. Similarly, Jenna is focused on her movie about Jackie Jormp Jomp, but this subplot never re-emerges. Is there a reason?

Can I watch the whole Olympics online over the next few months?

I love the Olympics and would love to watch lots and lots of it, but I don't have time now. My Tivo is just about full. I find NBCOlympics.com baffling. The only videos I see there are highlights. Are there long-attention-span videos of events? For how long will this be available? I'm in the US and I'm a Comcast subscriber.

Where can I find a straightforward NBC Olympics schedule?

Maybe it's just my computer, but NBC's Olympics schedule page is horribly broken for me. I'm looking both for a schedule of what time each event will be streamed live, as well as a schedule of NBC's primetime coverage. Are there any other sites where I can find it -- preferably in plaintext? I'm particularly interested in the figure-skating events, so if there's a site where I can find just those times, that would be helpful too.

When is Michael Phelps competing?

I would like a list of the times Michael Phelps' gold medal races will be shown on NBC (EST). I can't seem to find this information online, or even the events in which he's competing. I can't use NBC's Olympic site to watch video because I can't install Silverlight.

Help me satisfy my Tim Sale (art) urges

Anyone know of a source for prints (or a schedule for their release) of the very cool Tim Sale pieces from NBC's 'Heroes?' I'd love to have a few in my office, but have sadly only found references to the charity auction that was run last year, and a sketchy UK front for mass oil reproductions from Chinese artists. Any insiders on the MeFi?

90s sitcom about college faculty on NBC

Name that sitcom: I vaguely remember seeing a sitcom about a college or university faculty, where a new lecturer arrives (teaching english lit?) and tries to get to grips with the job. He had long curly dark hair. I think the theme tune was the Eels' Novocaine for the soul, but given how easily googleable that should make it (which it isn't), I might be wrong on that. It was aired somewhere in the middle of the nineties on NBC, though it was NBC in europe, parts of which differ from the US NBC broadcast, so it might not have been on in the US at that time. Nightly News Clip

The mother of a friend of the family was on NBC's Nightly News tonight in a short segment regarding soldiers away from tloved ones during the holidays. We missed the news broadcast today, and I can't find a clip of the video.

Looking around for torrents I TV shows, I found plenty of the usual suspects (sitcoms, cartoons, etc) but nothing on this newcast tonight. Heck no places that offer downloads of new programs period.

This would really mean a lot to my fiancee and brother in law. Can anyone help me out, please?

Thank you in advance. [more inside]

News station research question

How many TV stations are there nationwide? ABC, NBC, FOX etc. have different listings for each market and would therefore be a seperate station to work for. Bonus for who has the best looking news anchor in your market.
