A tale of woe: I was walking in the woods and came upon a solitary cultivated plant which appeared to be marijuana by the shape of it's leaves. For reasons I can't explain (I've never enjoyed being stoned anyway), I picked one of the largely desicated 'buds' smoked it and within minutes felt horribly, horribly nauseated. What happened to me? I've recently discovered I'm pregnant, but I won't be staying pregnant, especially now that I know that's what's been making me feel so awful for the last several weeks. But I've missed a lot of work and several social events; people are worried about me. Everybody's always asking me what's wrong. What do I tell them? [more inside]

I've never had PMS problems before outside of the occasional mild lower backache. I'm not on the pill because while my period is not on-the-dot regular, it does come every month for a fairly normal length of time and rate of flow. It has been easy to deal with. But for the past five or six months I've been getting Montezuma's Revenge bad at the onset of my period. What gives? [more inside]

I'm currently on 10mg of Prozac a day. I find that it works really well, except for the fact that I want to throw up whenever I'm in a moving vehicle that's stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic, due to the stop and go motion. Sometimes, even driving around on service streets can make me sick. I've already tried other meds, including Celexa (did absolutely nothing for me) and Serzone (made me want to sleep 15 hours a day.) Has anyone else had this problem? How did you manage it? If you have any remedies or tips for preventing nausea as a whole, I would also be interested in hearing them. Thanks to everyone in advance.

A close family member is pregnant, and she is using marijuana to ease morning sickness. Well, actually, it's more like all-day sickness, ergo several-times-per-day smoking of small amounts. Meanwhile, I'm feeling the effects of my puritanical streak and freaking out. [mi]
