For work I am making a complete database of all existing (reasonably current) data on Native American health/risk factors. But I know next to nothing about the area. What are some surveys I should look at? It would be especially helpful if the data were at the tribal level of analysis. I'm at a bit of a loss and I'd appreciate any help you could offer! Thanks in advance.

“A citizen of America will cross the ocean to fight for democracy but won't cross the street to vote in a national election”
Why is there an apparent apathy of political participation in America, and to extend it a bit, how come voting turn-out is higher in some countries in others even if the countries in comparison are both recognized liberal democracies?

" 95% of all the firms in America hire fewer than ten people". He seems fond of this statistic, but it seems fishy to me. Is it true?

I am looking for a quote I once read about the decline of nations/empires. I think the quote was specifically referencing the Roman Empire and said something to the effect of when a nation starts putting the current generation ahead of the unborn generation, that's when it falls.

Can anyone point to a good resource that explains the reasoning behind "USA is a Christian Nation"? Recently my partner was told by some of his co-workers that all of the Founding Fathers were fundamentalist Christians, and the idea that Jefferson, Franklin, or others were deists or agnostics is a liberal media conspiracy. Any help on the source for Founders as Fundamentalists assertion?
