My family has just received approval to adopt this adorable little guy, and we are in the process of selecting a name. We have a tradition of giving dogs floral and botanical names. Similarly, my friend in high school had a Siamese cat named Tiffany that people would call Tiffers, Reefer, or Reefer Eebeep. Are pet nicknames like this widespread? What's your pet's real name and what are the weird stream-of-consciousness nicknames you've come up for it?
