Hi all,
I was wondering if you could recommend any podcasts that featured interesting, new and insightful music. Preferably ones that are by musicians or producers/recording engineers.
Thanks!

I want to buy an audio interface for home recordings. Specifically, I want to record onto (most likely) a Mac, and I need more than 2 simultaneous inputs, since I will often be recording drums. I would prefer to spend under 200€. Give me your opinion and experiences!

One mic or two? I am recording myself on the shakuhachi more and more these days, and I'm in the process of building up a recording set-up. I have one professional audio engineer friend who says I only need one mic, and another very knowledgeable friend who says I will definitely do better with two. My lack of knowledge about the subject knows no bounds, and much of the information online is confusing or incomplete.

20 years ago, at a concert in Toronto, Etta James sang a song that my partner fell in love with. To the best of her recollection it had the lyric, "why was was I born green, instead of blue -like everybody else?" I've googled around but can't narrow my results down to anything useful.
Does anyone know what the title of this song might be and if there is a recording of it available?

Guitarfilter: I am looking to find the best DI (Direct Injection) box for my needs. The most important things to me are: 1.) Active not Passive 2.) Has two outputs, one to USB for PC recording and one (as bypass or as wet) standard 1/4" to feed to amp 3.) Low latency.
