I feel sick every time I get on to nyc subway trains. The N train is constantly stinky like urine and mcdonalds and feet, that triggered my multiple chemical sensitivity badly.
I noticed 7 train usually have very fresh air which does not trigger my symptoms, as well as #6 train. R train is much better than N train, and E train is much better than F train.
I want to know what caused these nasty stinky trains? Are all odor caused by mold?
Btw: I can't tolerate PATH smell as well.
I'm so confused people in these trains seem do not feel anything.
Any information or comment are welcome.
When I got pregnant, my brother and sister-in-law immediately offered SIL as our daycare provider as she'd be at home with their baby anyway. Sweet! Now I'm 2 months from going back to work, however, and she's getting (understandable) cold feet about the idea of caring for 2 babies at the same time. Not sweet. :( Looking for suggestions on how our families can make this work, because trying to figure out a different daycare/nanny option in the next 2 months is giving me hives (plus I'd love for my son to be cared for by family if possible). I am trying to upgrade my computer (Intel DP55WG motherboard, Windows 7 64 bit) from two ATI/AMD Radeon HD 6950 video cards to two Radeon HD 7970 cards. When I install either of the 7970 cards along with any other card (the other 7970 or either of my 6950s), only one card is able to start in Windows. The other card does not provide video output, and it has an exclamation icon in the device manager with the text "This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system. (Code 12)" Do you have any idea why this is happening or how I might be able to fix it? More details and a list of things I have already tried inside. [more inside]
I will try to keep this short....My wife (37yo) was diagnosed w/ MS in 2007. Since that time she really hasn't had any really bad symptoms or issues. Well it has now reared its ugly head and she has major fatigue, legs hurting really bad, and she is very scared. She went to her nuero and he said she has now more lesions and a "black hole", and that he was going to do his best to keep her out of a wheelchair or off of a cane. My question is about disability. At her current job she has no short or long term disability. So what are her options? Her doctor asked if she could go part time, however as a family of 4 we couldn't afford that. We are just looking at options, so any guidance or answers would be extremely helpful. Also, we live in Texas if that helps any.

I'm a UI/UX designer who is flat broke and unemployed. I'm independently interviewing for 2 positions at the moment and have 3-4 other positions that I have or am about to interview for through a recruiter. Some are temporary, some are temp-to-perm, and some are permanent. Some are also more interesting to me than others, including one that I'm most interested in which I've been waiting to hear back from for the past week or so. However, the temporary positions (2-4 weeks) have more immediate needs and are more likely to lay something on the table in the next few days if they end up giving me an offer.
My question is: If I get a call that says "We'd like to offer you the position", how do I respond without an immediate yes and still be in consideration? [more inside]

I would like to connect two external TVs to my PC, each playing its own independent video with audio. The source video files would be located on the PC's hard drive. Would I need two video cards or a single card with dual video outputs? Also would I need two audio cards? Can anyone suggest a solution to accomplish this?

I recently started interviewing for jobs for the first time in 7 years. Every single job (coordinator positions) seems to require multiple interviews and/or tests. The process can go on for two weeks. A friend who is trying to get a job as a waiter in a catering company told me he has gone through the same multiple interview thing! Is this common now, due to the recession, or what? I didn't get the first two jobs. I must come across as exhausted as I feel.
I married into a family with the following medical history: the mother was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in her 50s, her daughter was diagnosed with an vestibular schwannoma in her 40s, and her grandson from another daughter was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome and epilepsy when he was 7. These are seemingly separate issues except that while educating myself on them I kept bumping into connections with the myelin sheath. Turns out that each of these conditions are, or thought to be linked to this same group of cells which cover nerves. I casually mentioned this to a neurologist and was quickly dismissed as crazy, but isn't it possible if not likely that there's an as-yet undiscovered genetic link connecting all of these conditions? Has anyone ever studied such a connection?

How do you multiply probability across multiple chances? Let's say that every time you roll a die, you have a one-in-six chance of having five come up. What math would you perform to come up with the probability of five coming up at some point with the dice being rolled two times? Three? Five? Ten?
