I'm trying to compile a list of stories that cable news went insane for. OJ, Elizabeth Smart, Jon Benet Ramsay, Di's death, balloon boy, 9/11, Chandra Levy, Clinton/Lewinsky, Katrina . What other breaking stories have provoked saturation coverage on CNN/Fox/MSNBC, even if only for a couple of days?

Why does MSNBC broadcast South African (and no other international) weather updates when I am located in California? They frequently come on at 12:30am PT and have done so for the last few months, so it is not due to a specific weather event. MSNBC is shown in South Africa although that alone wouldn't seem to explain it. Is this a mistake, S.A. tourism ministry advertising, something else? Has anyone else seen this?

The CNN delegate count says Clinton: 818, Obama: 730, including estimated superdelegates.
The MSNBC delegate count says Clinton: 834, Obama: 838, seemingly NOT including estimated superdelegates.
What's up with that?

Yet ANOTHER Election Night Question: What network should I be locked into on Tuesday night? I want fairness, either by straight non-partisanship or true balance, good solid analysis of what each state's results mean as we go, and some personality and banter to keep it interesting. ABC? CNN? MSNBC? FOX News? (hah. just kidding about that one.)
