I need to batch process mp3 files from high bitrate to lower bitrate. LAME can do that - I think, but can anyone help me optimize for spoken mp3 files? I need a command line example and it might need a lowpass filter setting. Thanks BB

Does anyone know of a mp3 tag editor which cab include a http reference and all the other usual stuff for XP? or LInux? Thx

I need a (free) (command line?) utility for XP to cut a 2 hour recording into 10 sections. Something simple that can take a file, cut, and save the smaller files with a new filename. Audacity works - but it takes a lot of time and CPU cycles.
