Let's say one where to have over 100,000 songs they wanted to play randomly from a playlist, if Winamp has a 90,000 song playlist limit (approximate) before it crashes; what other software would you suggest that would allow for such an immense list while not stealing all your resources (sorry itunes!) What's the best way to turn an iTunes (Mac) playlist into a self-contained Flash player that will play the music in that playlist? It seems like someone should have already figured this out and created some kind of script that can do it, but I haven't been able to find any such thing.

I want to divide my MP3s into Category A, Category B, and Category C. Then I want to build a playlist that will play, say, twenty random As, followed by fifteen random Bs, followed by five random Cs. Is this possible? I am using XP. I do not want to have to put the MP3s into three different directories.

Currently I have a 15 GB third generation ipod. Unfortunately it has come very close to filling up. In addition I started a new job which has a 60 minute commute each way. I decided to reward myself by purchasing a new cd each week (either in the store or through iTunes). So the question is: would I be better to purchase a second iPod for all this new music I am going to be purchasing or would it be better for me to just keep the mp3 files on the computer and only transfer the ones I really need to the ipod?
