Is there a quick (or a quicker) way to download all files of a given type from the Media Library of a self-hosted WordPress site? The site in question has about 200 MP3s. I can easily sort out the MP3s by selecting "Audio." But how can I download them all at once? Is there a plug-in? FTP looks like a big pain, too, as these files are organized in folders by year and month, and there are several years here -- and many months with no uploads at all.

Is there a way for me to get the MP3s I bought from Amazon.com before they introduced the cloud player (where you downloaded them once and that was it) to be available via cloud player now?

It's about 6 AM. I'm leaving my house at about 7 AM. I'm getting on an airplane at about 9 AM. While on that airplane, I'd like to listen on my iPhone 4 to an .mp3 file that will be posted onto the internets at about 7:30 AM.

I would like to buy and download a specific album (with no scheduled or rumored or hinted at American release date) from any reputable English purveyor of music. Yet my lack of a UK mailing address and/or UK payment method seems to block me from doing so. Is there any legal way I can purchase this music digitally and download it to my American desktop?

I used to send out a Christmas CD with holiday songs and clips from Movies and TV shows. It took a month to master and rip the CDs and 100 bucks in postage. What's a way to do this online instead? Is there somewhere I can POST a Christmas CD so people can listen online and download it if they want?

Who can license music for download/sale? A friend came up with a wicked cool idea for selling music using the internet, but it can't be done through some affiliate mp3 link (like Amazon). We're just a couple of college guys, and we don't know any rockstars or label executives.

I own a copy of
Tres Hombres by ZZ Top. I'd like to get it into mp3 format so that I can listen to it in the car, etc. The problem is that the copy I own is on a record.
Assuming I download with bittorrent, and then the RIAA comes after me, can I use the defense that I actually already owned it, so downloading could not be considered criminal? Would it be different if I owned a record rather than a CD?
In other words, can you legally download the mp3 of an album you already own?

I know how to encode mp3 files and how to store them on an ftp server. The shopping cart app (oscommerce) claims to be able to deliver virtual merchandise. My question is: once the customer pays for the mp3, what has to be done to deliver the link to him for download? Is there a plugin for oscommerce to make this happen?

Where can I download National Public Radio's All Things Considered or Morning Edition in MP3 format? I was doing this as an Audible subscriber, but they discontinued it. I have searched for podcasts, and of course the NPR site and can't find anything. I have a computer program that records the broadcasts from the NPR website, but in real time, which takes forever. Also, just out of curiosity, does anyone know why Audible stopped doing this? Thanks

Where to download music? I only listen to music when I’m in my car (3 to 4 hours a day) and I plan to give my XM Radio to my father. I need to be able to burn the songs into CDs. I don’t need to find rare songs. Free is good, but I’d rather pay than have my PC full of spyware.

I remember hearing about a stellar mp3 subscription download company that specialized in out-of-print records, maybe about a year ago. I checked them out at the time and was amazed at their catalogue, but not having my own computer, didn't sign on. Now I can't remember their name. Sound familiar to anyone? Can you reccommend any other good cheap mp3 sources (other than iTunes...)?
