What song makes Navin R. Johnson dance?

This has been bugging me for years; someone has to know the answer. In "The Jerk" (Steve Martin, 1979), Steve Martin's character gets out of bed to snap his fingers and dance to a song on the radio he claims "speaks" to him. What is that song, and who performed it? [more inside]

Who's that flying naked woman in "Jesus' Son?"

Who is the actress that plays the naked flying woman that Billy Crudup and Dennis Leary see in the movie "Jesus' Son?" The Dennis Leary character says it's his wife, though I'm not sure we're meant to take that literally, and we never see the woman before or after that scene. IMDB and Google give no love.

Content Server Legality

A school is thinking about moving it's library into the 21st century by setting up a content server and letting students/faculty/staff stream movies and music that the library owns over the network. Assuming they set up an authentication system, and only let a title be signed out to one user at a time, what are the legal issues they need to consider?

full movie credits

This is probably one for the librarians; Is there *anywhere* that the full end-credits to a movie get published? Online,Offline, or Overpriced-Industry-Service? IMDB does a decent job on the big names, but I'm interested in a full and accurate listing for movies (aka., down to the second second assistant assistant director).

Movies where the movie title gets a mention

So, movies where the movie's title is mentioned in the dialogue - my girlfriend was talking about these the other day; she has a superstition that it's a badge of quality. So, how many films are there like this - I would guess it's a minority? Is there a list somewhere? And is it a tick of some directors/screenwriters?

Looking for some action

[MovieNameFilter] A couple of years ago, I remember seeing a trailer for a movie of oriental origin -- I think it was korean, but I'm not sure -- that was a CGI/live-action giant robot movie, with a swordsman all in white doing a serious job of kicking ass (and potentially taking names, but it was all in a language foreign to me, so I'm not too sure). Does anyone A) know what the name of this film is, B) know where I can find it, and C) know if it was translated into english, or at least subtitled?

Desperately seeking female British flick title

Movie trivia - killer! Trying to recall a 1960s-ish (?) movie about a knock-out female British hair dresser who decides to improve herself and take continuing-ed university classes - very toff university, very toff professor (possibly Donald Sutherland or Peter O'Toole - except I can't seem to find anything similar on their IMDB career lists). Very along the lines of 'To Sir With Love,' (shot similar also) but focusing on the female's growth from bleached blonde bimbo to an academic over-achiever. Arg, this is killing me. Anyone remember this flick?

Name That Tune

What's the music in the (International #1) trailer for The World's Fastest Indian? It's the guitar riff that begins right after the line, "It's what we're here for"--cut to a shot of a red vehicle speeding down the Bonneville Salt Flat. It's used again after the zoom-in on Anthony Hopkins and the VO, "Burt Monro's not ready to finish yet, I'll tell you that mate." Quicktime: small, large.
