I've had this scene scarred onto my brain for about 30 years, I've encountered another person online who also remembers it but likewise has no idea what movie or TV show it was. His and my descriptions of the scene below. [more inside]
I think it was in black and white. It was definitely in English. Not sure if it was American or British. [more inside]
Movie #1 I saw on Sammy Terry's "Nightmare Theater" on WTTV-4 in the mid to late 70s. It was set in a girls reform school (England maybe ?) and the only male at the remote mansion was the Headmistress's teenage son. He would spy on the girls and told his Mom that he liked some of them. His Mom would always tell him that they were not good enough for him and he needed to find a girl like her. Girls started disappearing, at the end he had made his own perfect girl using different girl's body parts so she would be just like his Mom. Very creepy movie. Movie #2 I may have seen on TV in Michigan in the early 70's. The movie started with some guys towing a guy on a square board with wheels behind a pickup truck, the driver took a sharp turn and the guy got shredded by a barb wire fence. Later there was a girl (deformed maybe?) chained up in the attic of a two story house. I have searched Google and INDB using keywords and I would appreciate any help. Thanks Hive Mind!

I've seen The Twilight Zone. I've seen The Outer Limits. I've seen Tales From the Darkside. I've seen (and, puns notwithstanding, was bored by) Tales From the Crypt. I've seen Night Gallery. What else is there for me to see? [more inside]

Please help me find the names of three vaguely recalled movies from my past: a teen flick from the 80s, a dubbed (possibly Italian) horror film from the 70s, and a scifi adventure from the 60s (maybe)? [more inside]
Mid/late 80s-90's comedy/horror flick. Seems very B movie esque. It actually reminds me of something that Troma would churn out. It had to do with a high school reunion. Everyone had quirky tendencies and maybe they were all murders? I remember a murder happening in a school cafeteria kitchen and think someone was decapitated with something silly.

Another lost movie question, but this time I know the title ... or thought I did. I'm looking for "They Swarm", a film about a swarm of huge beetles approaching a northern US island under the watch of an inexperienced young sheriff. Nothing comes up on IMDB or the internet for that title. It's not "The Swarm", the 1978 film about killer bees. [more inside]

Help me remember the title of this horror movie. Plot basics: Single dad has two kids. He digs a hole under the garage. He abducts people and tells his kids they are demons (or evil people) and kills them. I would guess it came out sometime around 2000-2004? My googlefoo as failed me!

HELP me with this movie title PLEASE! As a child, I saw a black-and-white horror movie about a woman who lived in a house on top of a cliff. Her fiance fell off the cliff and died. She had a mirror at the end of a hallway. Whenever she looked at it, she was still young and beautiful. Many years later, she smashed the mirror and instantly aged and died. It gave me many nightmares back in the day (we had a full-length mirror at the end of a hall and I was terrified to look at it), but today I would love to see it again. After many unsuccessful Internet searches, I fear that y'all are my last hope. PLEASE HELP. Thanks!
FlickFilter: This scary movie, perhaps from the early 60s, finds our cast stranded on a ship which has become mired in some kind of dense seaweed. They see another galleon nearby and debark to explore it. Each member of the crew dons individual helium (/hydrogen?) balloons--harnessed to their backs like water-wings--and snowshoe-like shoes, and walk across the water to the other boat. This definitive scene is very eerie, and is the clearest in my memory. [more inside]
