I am looking for some memorandum of law wherein attorney fees were awarded in a subsequent motion for costs that were incurred in a previous motion that was (involuntarily) withdrawn. Has this ever happened?

So I have my father's father's retirement pocketwatch. My father gave it to me almost twenty years ago and it has never worked. Recently I pulled it out of the china cabinet and tried to fix it myself following some youtube tutorials. Unfortunately I forgot that I am clumsy and bad at not losing small things. Long story slightly longer, I lost/broke a couple pieces. At that point I took it to a jeweler/watchmaker and he could not fix my mistake. Now I'm wondering if I can just replace the entire internal mechanism of the watch while keeping the part that has my Grandpa's name on it. I'm having no luck finding anything online.

Is there a program or set of tools, preferably free / open source, that can take a video file as input, analyze the video, and output the parts of the video which contain motion above some threshold? The output could either be a video file or a series of still images.

I would like to make a 40 second long outro to a promo video, in which the clip gets smaller, and as it does so, other clips around it come into frame. So, it starts with one clip, shrinks to a grid of 9 clips (3x3 grid), then to 25 clips (5x5 grid), and then the whole thing shrinks to reveal the image behind it. I have an idea that doesn't hurt my head to think about, but what's the easiest method? I'm thinking of doing
this. Better explanation inside.

I have found myself in the possession of a few interesting vintage motion and still film cameras which look to be in great shape, including cases and manuals. While they look neat, I know nothing about them. I tried googling them, but couldn't find anything specific enough to help me decide what I should do with them. I'd like to know if they're worth anything and where I can look to find how much they're going for and where I might advertise them. Specifics and photos inside...

Do you know this crudely animated stop-motion music video (or the song it is a video for)...can't remember the song, but part of the refrain is like "shake the house, shake the house" with female vocalist. Two characters standing outside of the house, with a nice tree in the side yard. I think its a love song or some other similar "you're crazy" kind of number but upbeat and fun!

Security alarm: I'm looking for a portable, battery operated house/office alarm system which can watch the only entrance of a flat. It's a concrete building and the front door is the only way in, unless somebody scales a balcony which would definitely be noticed. This should function much like a car alarm, with a remote key fob to arm and disarm, motion sensor and a opening sensor on the door, and make a very loud noise if it's disturbed.

I get really ill when playing 3D video games. I can only take them for about an hour before I have to lie down (it goes away after 10 minutes.) I'm no moving-image slouch, I can (and in my youth, have) played 2D platform games for the entire day if I want and of course I stare at a computer all the work day with no problems. I'd like to know if anyone else deals with this problem and what they do to combat it. I'm not generally motion sick (no problems on cars, trains, planes, boats) but any game with a free camera does me in within the hour.
