I am new to this and need to get this done soon. So I would really appreciate some advice. I am trying to setup a reverse proxy for our intranet and have been playing around with mod_proxy and mod_proxy_html for Apache. It all seems to work on regular html pages fine. But when I get to RSS/ATOM feeds mod_proxy_html does not seem to work. Any advise how can I do it ? I saw there is something called mod_proxy_xml. But not sure it will do the job and I dont have a build setup to quickly build it for Ubuntu. Would really appreciate some tips and pointers. I am sure others have done this already.

Please help me remember the name of a fancy Windows screensaver from about 1996. The only points I remember clearly about it was that it was shareware, had many available modules, one of which was an animated soccer/football game that periodically had a streaker dash across the field.

Almost all of the version specific stuff can be abstracted out, except... [more inside]

MIDIFilter: I recently had the good fortune to acquire four MIDI instruments: a Roland Juno 106 and three "modules" (synths w/o keyboards). I want to be able to control the three modules with either the Juno 106 or a MIDI controller (keyboard w/o a synth) or maybe even my Mac. (I use Ableton Live and Reason). [more inside]
