WANTED : Laptop for a gorilla. What is wrong with me? Why do they all keep leaving me like this. Yes ok so I punched this wimpy little Thinkpad and now it just refuses to boot. But it deserved it - believe me. Why do they have to be so precious about a bit of enthusiastic handling?

I need a laptop who loves for me who I am. Who loves me when I shake it around a bit, that forgives me when I roll on top of it in my sleep, that doesn't get all hurt when I drop it on the carpet every now and then, and that will forgive my questionable personable habits.

Im really not asking for much. I just need a 2Ghz CPU - doesn't have to do ultra-sexy graphics for me and I definitely wont play games with it. A sturdy proven work-horse that enjoys it a bit rough and that won't abandon me in times of need. Is there any one out there?

I'm compiling a list of misunderstood song lyrics as a gift for a friend who has an obsession with, well, misunderstood song lyrics. [...] Some of my own gaffes, most of them from childhood:

"Go, spiders in the sky!" (Ghost Riders in the Sky)

"Because night, we are night divine!" (The BeeGees "Night Fever, Night FEEver")

"With the thoughts you'd be thinkin'/You could be an Arthur Lincoln/If you only had a brain" (Which convinced me at an early age that "Arthur Lincoln" was a great American thinker).

Can you add to the list? I need the real song name and artist.

I have an idea for a theme CD- songs of misunderstood intent. Any suggestions? [more inside] REM's "One I Love" is often misconstrued as a romantic song, as is Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight". Barring any songs that sound like love songs but are actually about God, (It doesn't light up my life, personally...) any other suggestions for this disc?
