My gyn blew off my concerns. She was wrong. What now?

My former gynecologist laughed off my suggestion in 2011 that I might have endometriosis because of the severe pain I was starting to develop during my periods. I had a colon resection in 2013 and the surgeon had to remove an extra 6 inches out due to endometriosis adhesions. What do I do now? [more inside]

My cat may have been misdiagnosed. Time to find a new vet?

Back in July, my 11 year old cat was tentatively diagnosed with possible early renal failure. This past Saturday, however, she had another round of bloodwork and urinalysis...the results of which indicated her kidneys are probably fine! Needless to say, I'm very happy about this. But the more I think about it, the more it seems like the clinic folks jumped to conclusions way too quickly based on too little information. Am I off-base here, or is it perhaps really time to explore other local veterinary options? [more inside]

Should I tell my friend's doctor about his misdiagnosis?

My friend was misdiagnosed by our pcp. The doctor thought he had the flu, and it turns out he has severe malaria. He's currently in the icu fighting for his life. Many flight attendants see this doctor, and I feel they might be at risk. Should I let the doctor know what's happened to my friend, or will he not be able to discuss his medical history with me? How do you sue without suing?
