I recently got a job that pays well with Medtronic (contract first, good signs for the future). I'll be paid handsomely and I need to start work on April 1st 2013 (or sooner). I have an apartment in Kalamazoo, MI until 5/01/2013. This is a 10 hour drive move, I have slightly less than 2.5 weeks to make it happen. What's the recommended way to do this, some combination of measuring, U-haul, gas cost, driving out there to check places out, figuring what to take, getting rid of the other stuff.... All that. I'm thinking Pods.com (based on Ask.Mefi post searches, along with friends and family, as of now). Input?

My friend, who is a serious runner and has been having intense and un-fixable leg pain connected with running for the last few months, needs recommendations for high caliber sports medicine physicians in the Twin Cities metro area. She will likely be paying for appointments out of pocket (high deductible on her health insurance plan), so bonus points for more affordable or financially accommodating providers/practices. She is NOT looking for recommendations for a physical therapist, chiropractor, acupuncturist, or anything else similar to that, strictly sports medicine folks. Who should she see?

Do you love your doctor? I'm looking for a new general practitioner. In the past I have had best experience with doctors who use integrative or holistic to describe their approach -- though I recognize that those terms mean different things to different people. Bottom line is that I want someone who isn't going to throw pills at me right off the bat. Thanks!

Do any good restaurants deliver to South Minneapolis? It is our anniversary and two of three kids are sick. So, we've had to cancel the hotel and restaurant reservations. I'm hoping to salvage the evening a bit with a nice dinner that we don't have to cook. I know about our local Chinese restaurant and the pizza places, but am wondering if there is something nicer.

I got a ticket for supposedly making a "California Rolling Stop" through a Stop Sign. I paid the ticket, thus pleading Guilty. But I believed I had stopped properly, so I ordered the Police Squad Video from the Records Information Unit. It shows me making a proper and complete stop.
