I have a genuine copy of Windows 7 Ultimate which i have previously installed and activated through Microsoft. I wanted to reinstall Windows today but I've found the DVD has somehow been scratched and my DVD drive refuses to read the disc. If i download a copy of Windows 7 from BitTorrent and install it using my genuine CD key, will I get into any trouble? Will it even work? If not, what are my options?

I am getting the following error when trying to save in .doc format in Microsoft Word 2011 for Mac (v. 14.2.0): "the save failed due to out of memory or disk space". I can open .docs, but can only save as .docx. This happens with brand new documents and old ones.

Microsoft Word 2010 doesn't seem to recognize some of my keyboard inputs. Maybe due to the language my keyboard is set. Can't figure how to customize or otherwise tell it that a [set keyboard shortcut] is already equated to a [set character].

There has to be an answer for this, but I just can't figure it out. In Excel, I've got 5 columns (A-E). I need to return a list of values from column A if either column B or C equals 'foo', *and* if either column D or E equals 'bar'. What's the magical formula (or whathaveyou) that will make this happen? For bonus points, results need to appear on a separate tab than the source data.

I often write in several languages (French, Dutch, and English) and so I use multiple keyboard layouts (on Windows 7) and multiple editing languages (in Microsoft Office 2007). I find that when I have Word open and I change the keyboard setting in Windows (from US to US-International or vice-versa), Microsoft Word will change the editing language back to English (United States), Word's default language, no matter what other language (Dutch or French) I was working in at the time.

After buying Office 2007 (Standard) on my Vista system, I can no longer change file associations. I migrated from a mixture of Office 2000 Professional and Windows office XP. When I go to the file association dialog box, it recommends odd programs, and no Office 2007 options, hence nothing opens in the new format. It won't change even if I point to the correct .exe file in Office 12 folder. The menu doesn't even offer any Word 2007 options. HELP! Nothing on the web or on the Microdouche website.

On Friday (23/10) I purchased Windows 7 Professional from the UK
Ultimate Steal wesbite. You validate your UK University email address, pay by card and get an email with a link to the download site where there is a download manager. I can get that - and run it - but the three files it is meant to retrieve (Box1, Box2 & the installer) all fail to download correctly and I end up with three files all of 1Kb. I've tried it on my old XP SP3 laptop and my new Vista SP2 laptop (which I am upgrading), but to no avail. Digital River's customer service, is frankly, appalling. I've emailed from their website CS form and you wait two or three days for the same automated response detailing the process I described above. I emailed their main CS address, but got another automated response that due to high levels of spam they were no longer checking it. A quick look around google shows they've had serious problems and the whole thing is a bit of a
hash. I don't really want a refund, just the product - but this is driving me nuts! Any ideas?

There's not a lot of info on either Adobe or MS's web sites about compatibility problems between Adobe CS4 Suite apps (particularly Premier, Flash, Photoshop and Illustrator CS4 versions). They suggest it's okay but don't come right out and say compatible (at least not where I have read). Any horror stories before I let our IT people order new Win 7 machines?
