Hi all, I have super flat feet and have had reconstructive foot surgery. The only kind of shoes that are comfortable for me to wear for long periods of time are motion control-type running shoes. Are there any non-sneaker shoes with similar construction and support? [more inside]
I would like to have a few shirts made, I think? And maybe, eventually a suit? Please explain the basics of a professional tailor. [more inside]

Where can I find good yoga clothes for men? Mid-length pants and shirts that don't fall all over the place. My old Lululemon stuff was well-designed and held up wonderfully, but they don't seem to make any purpose-designed yoga clothes for men anymore. [more inside]
Whenever I shop for pants or shorts, almost everything I try on either has a tight waist and comfortable butt, or tight butt and too-loose waist. This applies across various brands. I like to say that I'm little in the middle but I got much back, but my proportions aren't that strange. Skinny jeans don't fit me, but I'm not going for pleated dockers, either. I wear approximately a 30" waist and 28" inseam. Guys, can you recommend any brands that solve this problem?
I'm looking for a raincoat similar to this one, which is no longer available in my size. [more inside]
I'm looking for mens jeans that are stretchy (I'm talking the material throughout the pants, not the waist band). I remember a while back the store Express in the local mall sold dress pants that were 5% elastic (said so in the tag). They looked normal, but when squatting down, or taking a big stride, they would "give" a little around the knee, up the thigh, etc.). Anyone know of something similar for mens jeans?
My spouse recently got a job where he's on his feet all day, and his feet and knees are starting to hurt. He really needs more support/padding I guess. He also needs steel-toe. Shoes or boots are fine. What should he get? [more inside]
I wear a suit or dress trousers most days to the office, and am looking to replace some of my wardrobe. I've gone to a few mens' clothing stores, but have struck out looking for high-waisted, fitted but not tight, flat front men's trousers. (Details/snowflake/etc inside) [more inside]

Are there any magazines out there like Bitch or Bust, or Ms., but targeted toward the hetero-male gaze? I'm talking about magazines that hold values inherent in third-wave feminism in relation to current events, topics like bypassing heteronormativity, overcoming masculism, fighting homophobia, speaking out against domestic violence, working toward gender equality, supporting reproductive rights, ending rape culture, etc. Zines are also ok. [more inside]
Can you recommend a men's rain jacket that is available in tall sizes, lightweight, and doesn't look overly sporty or technical? [more inside]
I just trudged 3/4 of a mile down 42nd street. My fancy black dress shoes (Allen Edmonds) are NOT cut out for this. My pinky toes have been replaced by blisters. What are the most comfortable shoes I can wear to work? I work in the financial industry but the dress code is business casual: slacks, button down shirt, maybe jacket or tie, rarely a full suit. Both black and brown shoes are needed, men's size 12. Must withstand walking in NYC.
Hot summer days in New York can be miserable with the heat and humidity. I feel like I'm on an endless quest to find the perfect summer pants. What should I wear to keep cool and look stylish without being over or under dressed? [more inside]

Boyfriend has a solid-colored teal silk necktie he was forced to buy for a wedding. He says he'll never wear it again in it's current state as it is too "prom-y". Anything I can do to either a) make the tie more interesting (ex. a pattern) and thus wearable or b) put it to some other crafty use? [more inside]

I'm in my 20s and a man and I have a lot of trouble coming up with reasonably in style outfits. I'm looking for pictures of outfits with links to buy each component. Ideally, these would not be tied to any one brand (so, not Gap's looks for spring or something). Basically: "Wear theses things together and here is where you can find them." [more inside]

Greetings, I am looking for multiple sources for unique mens boots. I have a bit of a boot addiction so I am looking for GREAT sources. I have found things I love at Fluevog and Cydwog recently. For an idea of what I like right now, I saw these while hunting today: these and These I don't mind if they are "further out" than the links I provided. I like clean and stylish or rugged and stylish usually. Any funky, Bold, unusual boot links welcome. Thanks, SG

I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to buy reasonably priced mens clothing online. To be a little more specific, I am a college student who doesn't have a ton of money to spend, but I'd like to get the largest bang possible for my buck as far as clothes go. The sort of stuff I'm looking for fits somewhere on the spectrum between what Urban Outfitters has to offer, and what Tom Waits wears - if that makes any sense. I'm mostly covered in the pants department at the moment, so stuff like shirts, shoes, and socks are what I'm interested in. [more inside]
